Today, we were talking about the fact that the kids' birthdays are coming up next month. Ya know, that Pea is two-turning-three and that Punk is three-turning-four. Stuff like that.

Punk: "When I turn FIVE, I'm gonna get legs.*"
Me: "Honey, you already have legs."
Punk: "M-o-o-o-o-m! I mean HARD legs."
Dadders: "Well, what's gonna happen to the legs you have now, Punk?"
Punk, with every bit of seriousness: "They're gonna fall off."
Of course we began giggling.
Punk: "Seriously, Mom. Seriously!"
It was too funy!

*One of the neighbor kids, who happens to be five years old, was born without his lower legs and is really into his prosthetic legs these days.
