I love fall. And, my kids have been enjoying the cooler weather to the nth degree. One of their favorite activities of late is drawing with sidewalk chalk (which for some undetermined reason they persist in calling, "Scotch") while Dadders works in the garage/shop (and Mama takes a nice long bath!). Here is a particularly stunning representation of Punk's current method of drawing people. He has quite the penchant for coloring printables and coloring books, but whenever he free-hands people they look like this. It kinda creeps me out (especially when I know that one or more of the figures represents me or someone I love--I'm just guessing, but I think the curvy one on the right is me!).


Then again, maybe all the impressive, much-theorized-about prehistoric cave/rock art is really just the sidewalk-chalk doodlings of paleolithic preschoolers? Punk's blue guy's big pink eyes are dead-on for some of the figures in these last two shots!
