Punk and Pea at the Park
We spent a good part of the day, including a picnic lunch, at a nearby park yesterday. My friend who went with us took a bunch of photos (the other cute boy is her son).
How d'ya like Pea's "pose"?! She's not so natural at the modeling game. Maybe Auntie Melodie can give her some tips?!
And, the smile needs a little work too. :) Maybe I should keep this factoid for the next time I get tagged to tell goofy things about myself, but we all do this thing where we stick our upper lip to our upper gums and see how long it will stay. It's sort of a rainy day activity for us. But, we never wait for a rainy day!
Again, this wasn't a slow-shutter problem. Pea wanted to look like that for the photo. Maybe we should stick to candids. Except that she so loves posing!
This time the look works! I also love the pretty fall colors in the background (especially since I was afraid fall would never come again!).

This is a classic Punk look. Incredulity. Makes ya wonder what happened just before Lisa snapped this, huh? Yeah, me too (I really don't know).
The cute boy-o's! This fellow just turned 3 and he's just a smidge taller than both of mine! We always have a lot of fun together.
This is my favorite of the pack! It makes me want to giggle right out loud!

I did do Pea's hair but it's twists, not braids. I'm pretty pleased with it myself! But, I will admit, I'm totally chicken to try actual braids! Even the twists make me feel "all thumbs"!
PS--Chandler, Punk says, "I miss playing with you too. You bet--I can climb anything now!"
Cute cute! Buy me at ticket and I'll be glad to come on over and give Pea some lessons ;-)
I think Melodie could definitely teach her a thing or two! hahaha. That made me laugh. But Pea is still as cute as can be, even with all the funny poses and faces! Oh and Punk is a heart-breaker as well...
