The Five of Us, Spring 2014

What do you do?

Every Wednesday is A's day to take the car (we're a one-car family...so far!), so I have the morning to myself (Punk is at school all day and Pea from 9-12) with no where to go. Thus, Wednesday is house-keeping day! This morning I started the laundry, cleaned my desk off, cleaned the kids'/guests' bathroom, vaccuumed, polished the furniture in my bedroom, and changed the sheets on all the beds. Which brings me to my question.
What do you do to keep your linen closet fresh? I don't have time to strip the beds, wash the sheets, and remake the beds with the freshly cleaned sheets. So, I have to get sheets from the linen closet. But, they never smell good and fresh out of the closet. So, what do you? How do you handle the linen closet and the changing of the sheets? (I Febreezed everyone's beds today because I felt so crummy putting stale sheets on the beds!) HELP!

I can't help you with this one cause I wash all the sheets and then put them back on. We DO have extra's in the linen closet but don't use them all that often. I guess you might out a drier sheet in between each set? That might keep them smelling OK.

I fold a dryer sheet into the sheets. That and I store my candles in the same closet. :)

Talk To Me

I blog for myself and my kids and I would do it even if no one else cared, but I do like to hear from you (and think it's a wee bit creepy of you to voyeurize us without my knowing it). So, please leave a comment from time to time, or email me anytime at xawilsons@hotmail.com. Much obliged, I'm sure.
