I measured the kids on the first of the year. I meant to measure them again on their birthdays. But I didn't get around to it until today. On Jan 1, 09 Punk was 39.75 inches tall and grew to 41.75 inches today. Pea was one inch shorter than Punk at 38.75 and is now one inch taller at 42.5 inches. She grew 4 inches in 10 months! Unbelievable!

When Punky saw the marks on the wall, he began to cry. He really thinks that older = taller and can't really stand any variation in the formula. He believes he is supposed to be taller than Pea. We told him there is plenty of time for him to grow taller again and that just because he's shorter now doesn't mean he'll always be shorter. At least he still weighs more--by a smidgeon!
