The Five of Us, Spring 2014

Easter Scrapbook

24 April 2011

Being the far-away portion of the family has it's pros and cons. We can spend holidays in our jammies and avoid the stress of big, fancy, family dinners, but we don't get to have big, fancy, family dinners or enjoy the company of our larger family. With the new baby, everything seems to have been demoted to the "low-key" category and Easter is no different. I did bake a 10-lb ham Saturday night (with frozen veg and homemade bread) and we dyed 2 dozen eggs. The bigs had a quick hunt this morning, but the EB didn't even stop over with baskets and candy (they still have Halloween treats for Pete's sake!!!).

What treats they did receive came from relatives from afar. Punk got some fun Lego sets and Pea's pony collection grew. They couldn't be happier with their new things.

This sweet little outfit for Pup was one of the gifts from my brother and his fiancette. Isn't he darling in it? :)

Talk To Me

I blog for myself and my kids and I would do it even if no one else cared, but I do like to hear from you (and think it's a wee bit creepy of you to voyeurize us without my knowing it). So, please leave a comment from time to time, or email me anytime at xawilsons@hotmail.com. Much obliged, I'm sure.
