I was just driving home from a fun "Southern Living" party (I keep wanting to call it "Southern Comfort"! Yikes! That could be embarassing!) and praying about our kids in Liberia. Especially since we don't know anything about baby girl yet, I find myself daydreaming all kinds of wild scenarios about her and her process and her homecoming. I also sometimes daydream about Pence's process, but since we have (slightly) more details there, the fantasies aren't as wild. Anyway, so I was just telling God that I feel kinda silly making all that stuff up and he must just chuckle at my usage of the extra store of imagination he gave me! Then I found myself just thanking him and thanking him that I don't have to make any of that stuff happen. I thanked him that I'm not in control of it! I thanked him that there are trust-worthy people who are working so hard on our family's behalf and that most of all, HE has a plan for my family and every member of it! I actually thanked God that I just get to wait!

Boy, he's amazing! How did he get this little lump o' clay to look like THAT? What a Potter! Oh God, where would I be without you? How do you do it?! I love you! I'm so glad I know you!
