I have been struggling with the "balance" between resting in God's peace and fighting for my family to be united, as I shared a few entries ago. Tuesday night at InsideOut (the young adults ministry at our church; we help lead it), I asked for prayer for Pence's release from the hospital (short version of the story: he was abandoned there at 1 month old, but is healthy). A gal who was new to the group approached me afterward and said she really felt that this is a major spiritual battle and that Satan was holding on to Pence so hard because he has such an awesome destiny and Satan doesn't want to see that come to fruition. This is exactly what I have felt since the beginning and it was a good encouragement to keep fighting on my knees.
