The Five of Us, Spring 2014
Toddler Love
"Mom... Mom! Can we play Hungry....Hungry....Cherry-O?!"
"Mom... Mom! Do you see any dragons?! I'll catch them with my Dragon Catcher!" (A Dragon Catcher is a fantastical weapon formed from nothing more than an empty wrapping paper roll and a tish of imagination.)
(Every time we get in the car) "Mom... Mom! Do you see any fires?" (He then sprays "water" out of his finger all over the spot and saves the day)
"Daddy! Daddy! Your ears are WOGGLING!!!!"
"ACK-choo-ally... I would like the red one."

Talk To Me
I blog for myself and my kids and I would do it even if no one else cared, but I do like to hear from you (and think it's a wee bit creepy of you to voyeurize us without my knowing it). So, please leave a comment from time to time, or email me anytime at xawilsons@hotmail.com. Much obliged, I'm sure.

I love children and all the things they say!!!

Hee hee... toddlers are too much fun!
Jo's been saying "whats the produm (problem), Mama?" alot lately... She gets it from her daddy who asks her that when she's whining. Its so funny when she says it to me, although its definitely not always said in a respectful tone and I have to bite my lip to keep from laughing while I correct her attitude.
She also says, I DUDE IT MYSELF" (and she says it in capital letters, too! She really wants to do EVERYTHING on her own!)
Amber
I'm praying for you guys this weekend!!! I love you and have a blast!
Brandi
Hope you are having a wonderful time. I was praying for you yesterday at the festival!
Love ya,
Brandi
Hello I am Amber's "person" - her best friend and have thus come to read your blog. I have checked on the happenings and "blatherings" of your life probably about half a dozen times and have obviously yet to comment although I have been meaning to...so I am breaking the silence, letting you know I'm here and starting the two way street as you requested on your sidebar. :-)I have a blog also which I don't post on everyday but I do still enjoy sharing stories, pictures, events, etc. from time to time. Now that my introduction is official onto my comment...We have a daughter named Zoe (Amber's Jo is her very close friend)and I am constantly amazed by what comes out of her mouth - random and intelligent comments and observations alike. I am always marveling at her little mind at work! I have a few of her most recent sayings and observations on my blog if you'd like to check them out. All your children are precious - can't wait to see pictures of you all TOGETHER! So it was nice to meet you and I'll keep checking in on your journey through life. :-) Sarah
I so guessed it!!! Donna told me this morning! I am so happy for you...I can't wait to meet you in Liberia. You are going to be great at this.
Love,
Jocelyn

Rae,
Can I just say I am SO jealous! Jonah and I would have done it in a heartbeat except for all the problems that we would have with it here money wise. I can't wait to get rid of our mortgage! Congrats!

Hello from the Nelson Crew:
We will definitely be praying about your house, car, family and transition to Acres. Wow! What cool things are happening in your family. I'll also be praying for you spiritually, you are entering into a big place of God's heart for the orphans and satan hates it. Keep your guard up!

Hello from the Nelson Crew:
Welcome aboard! Thank you for obeying the Lord and joining Acres Staff. Keep your spiritual guard up, satan hates what you are doing for God's kingdom and His kids. Put on the full armor of God and continually ask for God's spirit of wisdom and revelation. We are praying for you, your family and your move and ministry.
