The Five of Us, Spring 2014

The Five of Us, Spring 2014

Weekend and Beyond

Family camp was fun and exhausting. Punk LOVED the boats and even took a spin or two in a tube behind the boat. It's funny to me that he loves that so much because he always looks like he's about to fall asleep! But, Mrs. Ashton let him help her drive and that really perked him up. He was so serious (which is somewhat unusual for him) about it all. :)

Now, I'm tackling the mountain of super-stinky, extra-dirty camp laundry. Woohoo!

Thanks everyone for sharing in our birthday wishes to the kids! When I sent the dolly and blankie I made over to Liberia with Brent and Kate, I wasn't even thinking about her getting them close to her birthday. So I was delighted to find a picture of her with them in my email last night! Yay! I tell ya, they take good care of us!

Today I'm getting ready for Aaron's birthday (tomorrow--I tell you it's mad party month around here!) and my mom's visit. She arrives tomorrow at 11 PM!

Stay tuned for a major announcement in a couple of weeks!

She's just beautiful. You can tell how much the doll and blanket mean to her! I'm so glad she is able to have that little piece of home!

Talk To Me

I blog for myself and my kids and I would do it even if no one else cared, but I do like to hear from you (and think it's a wee bit creepy of you to voyeurize us without my knowing it). So, please leave a comment from time to time, or email me anytime at xawilsons@hotmail.com. Much obliged, I'm sure.
