The Five of Us, Spring 2014

The Five of Us, Spring 2014

BIG NEWS!!

Da dada daaaaa!!!! We have a daughter!

This is Pea. She's 18 months old and oh so beautiful!!! We're very excited to have her join our family (and, yes, a little overwhelmed). She should come home sometime between July and November. Oh, and speaking of July, check out our calendar for that month (I'm not kidding!):

4 July - US Independence Day

7 July - Wedding anniversary

13 July - Pence's birthday (b. 2003, 4 yo this summer)

15 July - Pea's birthday (b. 2005, 2 yo this summer)

17 July - Aaron's birhtday (b. 1973, 34 yo this summer!)

25 July - Punk's birthday (b. 2004, 3 yo this summer)

26 July - Liberian Independence Day

Yep, that's SEVEN major events in one month! AND, yes, the kids are each exactly one year apart! Yikes! We're going to be busy and partying all July long! At least it's nowhere near the winter holidays! (In case you're wondering, my bday is in August.)

I also asked about Pence's process and we'll know more by mid-March. Donna and Patty will both be in Liberia for 3 weeks and they'll be able to move some things forward and definitely give us a clearer timeline. I'm not sure whether to pray for both kids to be ready at the same time or if it would be better for one to come home before the other. So, we'll just leave that to God to plan and effect. :)

What fun we'll be having this fall! Wahoo! (For those of you who read our Christmas letter, this is not exactly what I imagined when I complained to God about my mediocre life! I don't think I'll have a boring day for the next 20 years or so!)

Talk To Me

I blog for myself and my kids and I would do it even if no one else cared, but I do like to hear from you (and think it's a wee bit creepy of you to voyeurize us without my knowing it). So, please leave a comment from time to time, or email me anytime at xawilsons@hotmail.com. Much obliged, I'm sure.
