Pea is doing better

Thank you all for praying--God answered your prayers quickly! I was feeling so much better by the end of yesterday and then, when we got home from our meeting around 10, there was an email from Donna/Melodie. I think my "panic" made Melodie feel bad. :( Anyway, she said that Pea does crawl a bit. "She is by no means active" but she is able to crawl. So, this is good. Also, her head is nice and large. That means that her body is assigning nutrition to her brain, so there should be little lasting developmental problems. Whew.

She still needs prayers and she still needs to gain weight, but it's not as dire as it first seemed.

I WOULD GATHER CHILDREN said...

Hi Rae, I found you through Anita's blog. Hope you don't mind I stopped by! I have been praying for your little girl and talked with my husband late into the night about her. We are waiting to adopt from Guatemala but my heart isn't 100% that is where our daughter is. I told my husband how wonderful it will be as you watch your daugther blossom with every bit of love you give her. I said how neat it would be to watch her grow and see her hair turn to a beautiful black again (or maybe for the first time). I'll keep praying.
Smiles,

Talk To Me

I blog for myself and my kids and I would do it even if no one else cared, but I do like to hear from you (and think it's a wee bit creepy of you to voyeurize us without my knowing it). So, please leave a comment from time to time, or email me anytime at xawilsons@hotmail.com. Much obliged, I'm sure.
