I know it's been a long, long time since I've updated about our second adoption. It's been quite a road. So, here's the deal. We're embarking on a domestic Black infant adoption through Covenant Care Services in Macon, GA.

As you may recall, we had our home study updated in the fall, so it ought to be current. However, the agency we used had to close it's doors. So, no one can amend that home study to reflect a domestic adoption. Thus, we find ourselves requiring a whole new update. So, we've been up to our ears in paperwork for the last month. We should be able to send in the packet for our update tomorrow.

My tentative, guestimate, hopeful timeline is that we'll be ready to go "on the list" by the end July and that we'll be picked by Christmas. But, timing is what it is, so I'm holding these ideas loosely. We shall see. So, anyway, that's where we're at. We thank you for your prayers on behalf of our family.
